Learn from staff members at the Foundation for Individual Rights and Expression (FIRE) about your First Amendment rights on campus and what you can do to defend them. You'll also put these free speech rights into practice by learning techniques for how to lead and moderate conversations about controversial topics.
This free event is sponsored by the Heterodox Academy campus community at the University of Utah and is open to the broader University of Utah community. There will be a break between sessions when you’ll get to enjoy some free food and chat with FIRE staff. Please register in advance.
When: Oct 21, 2025 at 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm MT
